# Prizren Travel Guide — Kosovo's Most Beautiful City Prizren spreads along both banks of the Bistrica River at the foot of the Sharr Mountains, about 85 kilometres southwest of Pristina. Buses depart every 30 minutes from Pristina Bus Station, costing 4-5 EUR. The ride takes 1 hour 15 minutes on the modern motorway. Taxis and shared rides cost 15-20 EUR per car. ### From Tirana Direct buses run daily — the journey takes about 5 hours via the Morinë-Vërmicë border crossing. Expect to pay 10-15 EUR. Driza's House is well-reviewed, offering clean dorms and private rooms in a traditional Prizren stone building. ### Mid-Range (€30-70/night) Hotel Centrum occupies a central location near the bridge. Hotel Kaçandoll, slightly uphill, offers better views. Both include breakfast. ### Boutique (€70+/night) The Stone House Hotel (Shtëpia e Gurit) is a beautifully restored Ottoman-era house with exposed stonework, wooden ceilings and a courtyard garden.
